Robot Workshop — model references
Feed references reviewed 2026-09-09: 1678’s official 2026 robot description documents its full-width shooter, roller floor and accelerating ball tunnel; 8214’s team CAD release provides structural references. Neither source is treated as a measured firing-time trace. The different timing profiles are game interpretations of the user-requested continuous delivery.
v0.12.1 adds visible feeding and shooter detail to the opening, with trajectories aligned to each model outlet. The structural references and fidelity limits below still apply.

These are original, reduced game models. Public team CAD files, photographs, logos and code are not bundled or redistributed. The 1678 public Onshape assembly was inspected interactively in front/side views on 2026-09-09; no geometry export was performed. Other models use the CAD renders and photographs listed below. “Approximately 60%” is a requested visual target, not a measured fidelity result.
| Model | Inspected evidence | Visible structure |
|---|---|---|
| 1678 Limestone | Team CAD release, CAD animation embedded in the release thread, team mechanism description | White sheet hopper, intake-linked side extensions, powered roller floor, broad drum, telescoping supports |
| 9483 Enigma | Team reveal photographs and mechanism replies; public downloadable 2026 CAD not verified | Deep dark hopper, central cone, rotating radial feed floor, narrow turret and curved intake arms |
| 8214 Cyber Unicorn | Team championship CAD release and match photographs; linked CAD export not performed | Amber panels, retaining net, triangular braces, perforated intake carriage and separate kicker |
| 7769 CHUNK | Team CAD render and mechanism explanation | Angular open bin, lightened metal wall, blue static guide, spaced shooting wheels |
| 581 Rubble v2 | Championship release, match photo and team mechanism details; published CAD linked, not imported | Rack-driven linear intake, straight posts, smoked panels and net, seven floor rollers, twin hood rollers |
| 4414 RIPCURRENT | Team binder: Robot, Dye Rotor and Intake Isolated CAD renders; release | Wraparound hopper and tall rear portal, annular pocket rotor, teal feed tower, compact turret and linear intake wings |
| 2910 Re•Blitz | Team CAD release, intake CAD close-up and match photo | Box hopper, billet-style intake arms, continuous black rollers, round spoked hood cheeks |
| 118 Everybot reference | Official 2026 resources, community 2026 build photograph; original CAD not inspected | Open loading ramp, paired tall side plates, braces, narrow launcher and hook rails; game swerve adaptation |
Layout revision — v0.12.0
Robot silhouettes (v0.12.0): rebuilt storage proportions, front retaining walls, rear shooter bays and full-height feeder supports. 1678 has a white expanding hopper and a broad rear shooter; 8214 has amber walls, an arched net and exposed spoked flywheels; 7769 has a lightened metal bin and a wide blue wheel bank; 4414 has a rear portal, annular feed and elevated turret. 9483, 581, 2910 and the Everybot reference retain distinct feeding layouts. Near views add cut sheet plates, hollow frame tubes, bearings, motors and drive belts. The 1678 public Onshape assembly was inspected interactively on 2026-09-09; other models use the CAD renders and photographs listed in the model reference page. No team CAD meshes or source photographs are redistributed. Dimensions and motion remain game approximations; a 60% fidelity score has not been measured. The shot origin, F lock and moving collision parts now share the revised layout. Fixed shooters fire from the rear; the intake remains the driving front. Low quality renders 5,080–6,312 triangles per robot; high quality renders 19,768–29,044. Distant service hardware is hidden. Software-renderer checks cover all eight robots, three viewing angles and shot outlets; these are not physical tablet frame-rate measurements.
Game adaptations
- Chassis dimensions, masses, capacities, rates and speeds remain game settings. The revised rear shooter layout drives the visible outlet, aiming solution and collision parts. These are not measured CAD dimensions or a reproduction of every team's hood motion. Automatic height stow near the trench is a game adaptation, not a claim about each team's real folding mechanism.
- Internal mechanisms are animated render geometry. Stored FUEL is represented by an inventory indicator, not a full simulation of every ball inside the bin.
- 581 and 4414 use linear intake deployment with the same pose driving their moving collision envelope. Other intakes retain simplified hinged deployment.
- Small fasteners and cables are reduced in low quality. Repeated floor rollers and stored FUEL are instanced. Some service hardware is hidden beyond 4.5 m; visible identity-defining panels and mechanisms remain in every quality level.
- The studio's Inspect internals switch temporarily hides hopper skins/net and stored-ball indicators; it does not alter match collision or scoring.
- 118 means the educational Everybot reference, not the Robonauts competition robot. No verified 6941 competition-robot replica is included.
Bumper lettering
Updated 2026-09-07: each face now has its own alignment and a physically scaled number layout. Vector digits are drawn by the game, with no downloadable font or dependency on the device's installed fonts. Added small team-name captions, colored accents and decorative symbols from the earlier game artwork were removed.
| Reference | Observed lettering and placement |
|---|---|
| 1678 team CAD render | Upright rounded sans numerals, grouped toward an end rather than centered on the entire pad. Green CAD bumper color is not used for alliance identification in the game. |
| 9483 team reveal | Heavy, wide, forward-leaning sport numerals; prominent group on the visible padded face. |
| 8214 match photo | Wide chamfered italic digits, close to a corner/end on the two visible faces. |
| 7769 team CAD render | Upright angular athletic numerals, centered on the visible long pad. |
| 581 match photo | Heavier upright/slab-style numerals, grouped at the end of the visible long side. |
| 4414 team bumper CAD render | Upright athletic/slab forms, distinctive closed 4 and footed 1, with the group offset toward the end of the visible pads. |
| 2910 match photo | Tall, narrow, lighter numerals with substantial empty bumper space; groups near the ends. |
| Everybot game reference | No consistent numbered 2026 Everybot bumper livery was verified. Plain upright game digits remain; this does not reproduce the 118 competition robot's branding. |
Bumper numerals are approximations drawn from images; actual team font files have not been identified or distributed. Photographed faces follow the reference; unseen opposite faces use a mirrored adaptation. Short front pads remain centered to prevent clipping. Bumpers may change between events, so these references are not an exact all-season, all-angle replica. Source photos, team logos and sponsor graphics are not used as game textures.
